    VIRTUS Infantry troops are set to benefit from a new body armour system which will increase agility and make it easier to carry heavy kit. The new Virtus system uses the latest materials and offers the same protection as Osprey body armour but is significantly lighter, moves with the body more easily and produces a slimmer profile. The amount of protection employed can be scaled up or down to match the type of threat by adding or removing soft armour pads and hard ballistic plates. One of the most radical innovations is an integral 'spine' - the 'dynamic weight distribution' system. The device is linked to the user’s waist belt and helps spread the load of the body armour, a Bergen or daysack across the back, shoulders and hips. - Source British Army This new system has been modded into Arma 3 and would provide a more up date view on the British Army do date, it also works hand in hand with our current 3CB gear, it comes with a variety of vest, uniform and helmet types as can be seen below.     Due to the increasing volumes of missions being created and the varying skill levels of those involved we will be utilizing a new system in order to streamline this process. Tier 1 Mission: A tier one mission will be able to be made by anyone willing to take the time to do so, tier 1 missions may only be held mid week and will be a standalone operation with no ongoing story. This mission type will be suited to those of lower skill in terms of mission creation. Tier 2 Mission: As with a tier 1 mission this mission type can be made by anyone willing to take the time do so, however tier 2 missions must be made to a higher standard than tier 1 and contain some form of story line that runs into another operation. Tier 2 missions may be held on Saturdays/Sundays and be at least 2 operations long in order to allow for a story line. This mission type will be suited to those of an intermediate skill level in terms of mission creation. Tier 3 Mission: A tier 3 mission will differ greatly from the aforementioned, it can be one of two types, an extended campaign with significant detail or a large scale joint operation. Tier 3 missions will be held once a week on Fridays (a prime time for player counts) . Tier 3 missions are to be made only by those who have applied to be a tier 3 mission maker this is due to the complexity involved and the possible large numbers of people involved the execution of the mission. A tier 3 mission maker should complete an application (linked below), anyone who wishes to pursue this role should have significant experience and aptitude in mission making. Please note before any tier 1 or tier 2 mission can be played it must be approved by a tier 3 creator.

    If you would like to get specialised in a specific field, please check the ranks tab and see when you are eligible for that specialisation, and inform a member of the training team either on private message on here or in teamspeak or just simply reply to this thread. That being said if you have not yet met the required rank for the specialisation you will have to wait untill you are of the correct rank, to be eligible. Although depending on the amount of people within that specialisation you may not get your first choice of specialisations however you can have up to 2 specialisations and we will try and get you into your first choice once there is an opening.     This is a 20 x 20 km Map based in Afghanistan. It is a mix between desert and lush greenery , it has 2 large cities with 2 large air strips it would provide us with multiple mission possibilities due to the size and could be a permanent map within the modpack.     The L-39 is a two-seater jet trainer which is something we are lacking. Would really help out as there aren't any other two-seater planes except the Caesar BTT which requires Apex.     -Vietnam -1968 -Operation Riverbed -USMC | 2nd Battalion | Foxtrot Company| Alpha Squad This United States Marine Corp squad worked their way up the river to the north and came in contact with enemy guerrilla forces in the area. The Squad killed local civilians which only angered the VC more resulting in the Squad to have to fall back to the FOB. The enemy will always come with more force when civilians are harmed.

    Commanders tab, allows certain chosen individuals to have access to a small tablet that gives them various amounts of information: Blue Force Tracking (Players marked on map), Placing of markers (Medical, general, enemy Etc.), helmet cam with live feed to tablets, Tactical Display for air vehicles & much more.     This is something we can definitely consider in the future - the only down side being the fact the mod is HUGE - we'd have to set up something custom for when the week comes for this to be hosted / ran. Get a mission together first and contact me!

    Having used this aircraft to train pilots in other groups I second this, it has all the features you'd expect from a trainer, twin controls, weapons can be assigned to either seat, and it's got forgiving flight characteristics while still handling like a jet.

Please use this forum to recommend some of your favourite mods you'd like to see included in ArmaMilsims Arma3Sync repository or in the Steam Workshop collection. We will then either Approve or Reject the mod after a brief discussion with you. The more detail you provide about the mod the better - please also include the file size and a link to the mod on the Steam Workshop if applicable.

    A new page has been created on the website detailing ArmaMilsims new Rank Structure. This is applied to the teamspeak server with possible plans of bringing it over to the website in the future.
